Good web comics are something I respect, probably because they are something I can't do. Perhaps jokes I come up with sort of need more context to go along with them. Gary Larson is the master of one frame comics. He creates that exact kind of context with one picture.

Hangin' with Mad Balloon Bitches
I've slowly grown to enjoy web comics. Turning to the funny pages in the newspaper just gives me another indication of how newspapers are becoming a dated industry. Web comics are very hit or miss, usually one quick joke. The folks over at http://www.sharingmachine.com/ are usually hit, Natalie Dee is the funniest I think. I feel like I'm the only one who thinks that. http://xkcd.com/ is a great web comic too.

I really like Dinosaur Comics. It's the same artwork every single day and relies on text to changed the context of the artwork but usually the artwork is just there to illustrate that the conversations between T. Rex and Utahraptor are ones they have during the average life of a dinosaur.

Perry Bible Fellowship is probably the funniest webcomic ever but the author has stopped updating them.

Saturday Morning Breakfast Cereal is usually good. Hover your mouse over the red button for the secret panel
